FPX

What is FPX services?

FPX is a reliable internet-based payment gateway that allows hassle free real-time online payments using your Savings/Current account or even Credit Card (available for selected merchants only). FPX is operated by Payments Network Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“PayNet”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank Negara Malaysia.

How do I make payment via KenTrade FPX services?

Please sign on to KenTrade account, click on to “ePayment” and select “Online Payment”, select the banking link to your commercial banking online services portal.

How long will it take to update my trust balance and trading limits upon successful transfer of funds?

Your trust balance and trading limits will be automatically updated within 2 hours when making FPX payment during normal trading hours, whereas for non-trading hours, the update shall be on the next trading day.

Can I perform partial settlement of contracts via FPX services?

Yes, partial settlement of contract is allowed.

Can I perform online settlement of my foreign contracts via FPX services?

No, unless your settlement is in local currency.

Can I perform online settlement of my overdue contracts via FPX services?

No, under the Rules of Bursa Malaysia, overdue contracts that are not settled will be force sold. 

How do I verify the status of my payment/deposit?

You may verify the status of your deposit under ePayment > Transaction History or your Trust balance in Account Summary. Alternatively, please contact your Dealer’s Representative (“DR”) for further assistance.
